New - getting my posts to 5

This forum is awesome. I'm a member but I can't see jpgs until I have 5 posts? What's up with that?

I'm trying to figure out why but nothing makes sense except ....

The 5 post rule is there to try and encourage everyone to contribute. Five won't take long at all!

The problem is the rule results in a lot of junk posts, at least that's my perception.

I'm trying to figure out the mystery of the posting for newbies. Perhaps an initiation rite? If we're determined enough, then they'll let us in on the good stuff.

Theres really no getting around to it. Its just a matter of " encouraging" or new members
to participate more than merely lurking.
