new gold bar dat help please

i just got a 2 inch gold bar datnoid he is in with 3'' red streak gold severum,and a 2'' gold severum in a 75 what should i feed him how often and any general info please will be appreciated

gold bar?? never heard of such thing. by anychance you mean thinbar or widebar?
the datnoids mainly eat variety of stuff. its all different from what you feed in your tank. when i had datnoids. half of them ate krills and market shrimp and the other half was on pellets blood worm mysis shrimp, etc.

feed it blood worm and very small chopped up bits of prawn or silversides.

feed it every day and it should be fine in a 75g for some time.

he is very playful and confident havent tried to feed him yet they gave him some ghost shrimp at the store to show me he would eat they said to wait a couple days to feed him what you think

yeah its always best to wait a couple days to let the fish settle into its new surroundings. also a golden dat should be a thinbar tiger. they are very nice.
