New gold nugget. Help identifying possible infection

Just picked this guy up a few days ago. Can any one tell me if he just got beat up during transport or if he has an infection of some kind?

What his tank mate? Look more like fighting.

Looks like battle scaring if there is any type of white cloudyness coming from the area's then it's fungus attacking any open wound and a anti fungal medication would be beneficial. Also frequent water changes would help as well.

Thank you. So far no signs of a fungal infection. I figured it was some scaring but wanted to make sure as its a bit hard to identify what it was with all of his natural spots

No tank mates at the moment hes in quarantine. But I figure he got the damage previously ive only had him a few days
