New Golden Emperor.. having some issues...

About a little over 2 weeks ago, my cousin gave me his massive GE, cause he's getting into arrows now. Anyway, i love the fish it towers over all my other fish, (i put it in my community, with other flowerhorns, i'll post pics in the future) No fighting believe it or not... ANYWAy my actually problem is that its been like 2 weeks and he still isnt touching food, his color intensified the first week, the red under his neck and on his dorsal went a deep red and his yellow went bright as well, but just in the last 3 days he went dull, and i think developed drop eye on his right side, I dont know if its drop eye but its popping out and looks milky and swollen (i can't say if another fish caused it.. but i just haven't noticed any fights, maybe a flare up here and there), just tonight i added salt and im hoping that will work out.. my water is good.. my only thoughts is that the PH in his original tank at my cousins was lower, was like PH 7.1 where he was before whilst i maintain a PH 7.6... can that make a difference?? could it also be why hes not eating?

Sounds like popeye to me bro... This needs to be diagnosed and treated ASAP before u have a dead fish on your hands! Get pix up as soon as u can and start a new thread... Popeye is deadly if untreated...
