I should not buy any more fish...but look at the new goldfish auction from

I might wait for another auction in January that has veil tails. If I decide to buy, it will be one of these: The prices range from $100,$120, $140 and $150

That's just because you have yet to encounter true-to-form high-quality goldfish. Those are very fair prices for the work it takes to produce the specimens. And the cost of the other 2000 fry that were culled in favor of what you see there.
