New Green terror owner!

Hello all. I just picked up my first green terror 2 days ago and he's awesome! He had a little bit of ich but I turned the heat up around 82 or so and within a day or so the ich is almost gone ! I believe it's a male due to his hump on his head. What you think? Here's a pic !

I'll try to get some. But his head has a good size bump to it. Btw that pic is when I first got him. He doesn't have ich like that anymore.
 
All you need is aquarium salt and up the temps to 86F and itll be gone in a few days. Be sure to change the water afterwards too. I love GTs, my female has amazing colors to her and great personality (looks like a male with her trailers)
 
Another good ich remedy is dose hydrogen peroxide as soon as it appears, and salt treatments after. You could also ensure it is gone by romoving the aquarium gravel and submersing it in alot of salt and boiling water to kill any eggs that the ich has laid.
 
hey that is a nice GT, i have 2 GT's right now, a female and a male. how long is urs? about 3 inches? U'll know if its a male or female by the hump, but also the male is way more colorful than the female, the tip of the tail is orange on mine, but he is about 6 inches.
