Hi everyone. I went to a fish store today and bought this Green Terror. It's about 7-8 inches. The poor guy is pretty beaten up because it was in a tank with a 15" flowerhorn plus some large Jaguars. Despite its ragged appearance, I think this guy has the potential to color up. I'm not sure on the sex, so any help would be appreciated.

Here are some pictures:

I got her from a place called Norwalk Aquarium. I've been there a couple other times and they have an OK selection. Every now and then they have something rare or unusual. Some of the highlights I saw today were a Tigrinus catfish, some large Red devils, An enormous trimac/flowerhorn, a large Loisellei, a Jardini arowana, and some interesting eels. They even had pirahnas once. Don't get fooled by their so called "festae," they are actually Uro.

Is that near the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk? I would like a Loisellei.

Yeah, they are very close. People are always getting the two confused. I'm sorry that I cant give you more specific directions, but I think you could find it on google maps. If you are looking for the Loisellei, It is in the same tank as the big flowerhorn, so it is a little ragged as well, but it still looks great. I was really tempted to get it, but I am strictly South American. It is about 8" and labeled as a Managuense (The people there are not that knowledgable).

I could probably find the store fairly easy as I am familiar with Norwalk. I better get there quick before it goes. I am a C/A cichlid kinda guy so... I love the big Guapote.
