New Green Terrors!

I just picked up 2 green terrors! They're only 2 inches long, but my 7 inch mega mean Jack Dempsey male doesn't seem to mind them at all. In fact he is hanging out with them haha That may change when I take my female jack out of quarentine for ick and tail rot . Is it too soon to sex them?

how big is the tank, and why put them in with a pair of jack dempsey? you know they will get stressed out.. id put them in another tank to grow out if your going to do jack dempsey pair..

the one with the black on the cheek looks female to me usually you can tell by their anal fin. tho it may be to soon to tell.

The tank is 85 gallons and its 6 feet long. There is plenty of room for them to keep their own distance. My JD seems to like them though.

id say you have atleast one female maybe 2. GTs are easily one of my all time fav fish, nice lookin little ones, but i agree if the dempseys breed these are likely doomed.

Yeah I realize the danger in having them together. Them breeding however relies entirely on my female JD recovering. (she is in a ten gallon "hospital"). My male JD for the most part keeps his distance unless they go in his space then he chases them out. No nipping of anything so its looking positive. I plan on picking up 2 more on monday because I feel there will be strength in numbers!
