New grow out tank

Have had the little sens in a 10g grow out tank since I got them a few months ago at about 3". The 10g worked fine for awhile but now that they are getting up around 5" or so I wanted to get them into a bit more floor space so they can keep growing till they are ready for the 120g poly tank. Found a guy in our club that had a 20g long with wood stand and new glass lid for $40 for everything so grabbed that the other day. Cleaned the tank, painted the back and bottom brown and stained the stand and it looks pretty good for a grow out now. Little guys seem much more active now that they are out of the 10g.

Only been about 3 weeks but I swear the albino seems like he's put on 1/2" and some thickness now that they are in the bit bigger grow out tank

Thanks, I'm really diggin' the albino now. He was the runt of the three when I got him but now I think he's starting to outgrow the others.

What have you been feeding them since you got them?

Mostly 50% protein pellets daily, broken pieces of shrimp wafers couple times per week and krill once per week.

I may start adding krill and switch to a different pellet to my feeding routine to see if my albino senegal bichir can add a little length like yours did.
