new gsd puppy!

picked up a 8 week old male pup today! been 3 years since my old gsd passed, so it was time to get another.

where did you get him?

we got him from a local guy who had a pair of beautifull adults. actually lucked out, both parents come from a very long lineage of multi level schuntzhund winning dogs from germany, japan, and america between the two. the amount of info and other freebies we received with the dog rivals if not exceeds what other local "profesional" breeders provide that we have checked out. killer price as well, guess there's one good thing bout a shiety economy.

we thought about adopting from a shelter, but wanted a pure breed and we have small children (3yr old and 5 month old), we were not comfortable bringing in an older dog either as we wanted a fresh mind that we can mold ourselves.
