NEW GUINEA DAT. WIDE BAR???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it is its own species..... I even belive there is a sticky at the top of this forum that explains the different species...

Yea Nic is right - NG do not look anything like wide bars or thin bars. LFS commonly miss-label dats. Store by me has a widebar labeled as a NG. Look at the sticky chart and you'll be able to tell the difference between those 3 with no problem.

Yeah most stores don't know what Dats they are selling.

widebar datnoids is the common name for D. pulcher.

thinbar datnoids is the common name for D. undecimradiatus.

new guinea datnoids is the common name for D. campbelli.

they're three separate species.

if people had stuck to the origanal way of talking about TIGER then it would be much easyer to understand

NTT = thin bars real name north thia tigers
ST = pulcher wide bar siamese tiger
IT= indo tiger
NGT = cambelli new guiene tiger
AT = silver american tiger who knows why they call it that

thease are the letters TIGERS have been know as for years

for some reason people are now calling them dats which if you ask me doesnt make them sound as nice as TIGERS

they will always be TIGERS to me :D
