Just found this place while doing some research on my fish. Just started keeping fish 3 years ago. Started with fancy guppies in a 10 gallon for my son then progressed to a 30 gallon. Then one day my wife and son came home with 2 small silver fish with red bellies. Well 2 years later and we now have 125 gallon with 2 red belly pacus.
We really like these guys but have no room to upgrade to a bigger tank.
I wish petsmart would have told my wife 2 years ago about how big these fish would really get and not the BS about how they won't grow to big if the tank is small or 30-55 gallon tank would be plenty big enough.
I have posted in the market forum and these guys are free to a good home, I am in Leesburg VA if anyone is interested.
Great forum here and I look forward to learning more about keeping fish and hopefully finding some fish that are more our size to keep one day.
