New guy from Holland

Hello,

My name is Govert, I live in Holland.
I am 30 years old, married and a daughter of 1 year old.

I don't have monster fish, no strange species, only a malawi aqiarium of about 100 gallon.

This are the fish I have at the moment:

Red Kadango
Aulonocara Stuartgranti Cobue
Caruleus
Compressiceps

I also have a small aquarium with about 25 small frontosa's in it.
When these are big enough they will get sold.


Maybe the compressiceps are a bit monsterfish.

In the future I am planning a bigger wooden aquarium. This will still take some time, first grow up the little girl a bit.

Hi Govert, welcome to MFK! More Dutch people is always great! What size tank are you thinking about building and what do you plan on keeping in it?

I don't know the size yet, I still need to think about it.
I think it will be about 2,25m long, 60cm wide and 60cm of height.
This will be about 800ltr.

The fish I don't know yet. I only know it will be a plywood / epoxy tank.

Sound good, but I will advise you to go as wide as possible, this gives loads more options on wich fish you can keep in your tank.

Because you are now visiting monster fish keepers the possibility excists that you will like to keep some big fish in that tank, wich would need the width. 75-80 cm would be a width wich can keep alot more species of big fish than a 60 cm wide tank can.
