hey MFK! my names Bill im right outside of philadelphia and about 7or 8 months into the hobby, I started out with one of those "Complete" 29 gallon kits from petsmart with an oscar and my blood parrot, didnt work out to well at first... well the stock filter sucks and I knew my tank was too small so I picked up a fluval studio 47 gallon off of craigslist, before I could get it running my oscar jumped out of his tank at about 6.5" long
anyways heres a small video of my current setup, i have a couple of questions tho,
mainly is my blood parrot has always been like this since i got him/ her not sure actually lol but he has alot of black in his scales i herd this is due to water quality? I replaced the stock filter with a biowheel 400 and keep it clean with a bag of biomax in one side and a bag of carbon in the other, my tank is cycled and has show and bad quality's in about 2 months any suggestions?
also dose anyone know what kind of loach I have? I would like to find another one like him to keep him company!
and other than blood worms and hikari sinking cichlid pellets any suggestions on what food I could/should feed them?
