hi folks, new member here,,from scotland

i have two 4 ft tanks,awaiting delivery of a 6ft,

i keep an australian pearl arowana and a florida gar in one tank with two blue crayfish and in the other tank i have an albino oscar, tiger oscar, lemon barbs pacus and shovelnose catfish.......

i know one day these fish will out grow most aquariums but i would love one day to build a tropical pond for them,

the gar i got a few days ago is getting along fine with my aro, was a bit concerned at first that i might have world war three, but so far so good,, the trouble i have is that i cant get him to eat, the aro is far to quick, any tips?

Wow they are cool .... I wanna big tank

u got a sweet arowanna and feed the gar on 1 side of the tank dangle a worm or somthing and get the aro attention at the other end.

hi welcome to MFK! nice fishes and tank setups u got there man! :headbang2
abt the feeding part try feeding the jardini on the other side of the tank while also dropping food on the other side. btw, im surprised ur jardini is able to live w/ tankmates. :)

Yep, I agree; had to get rid of mine because he started snaping at my D. Pulchers. Pissed me off. Although I miss that lil b****** of a fish; if I had the space I would have gotten him a tank of his own..

I'll get another Jardini later tho that's for sure....

killer fish and tanks, to get the gar to eat tho i would distract the jar then feed the gar, lol that rymes.....
