Hello everyone! I just signed up on your site and I'm sure I'll be on it quite a bit in the future. I have been in the aquarium industry for over 15 years covering retail, wholesale and public aquarium experience. I was formally the Freshwater Curator at the Dallas World Aquarium and now own an aquarium shop. I will be starting construction on a 3000 gallon+ freshwater exhibit in the near future. It will house Arapaima, P. rays and P. bass. It will be constructed with fibergrate I beams as the frame and fibergrate walling and PVC sheeting for the water proofing. I will post a thread with pics of the fabrication process once it starts. The following are some pics of the two little guys (CITES import approved BTW) waiting for their new home to be completed. The second pic is one of the acrylic veiwing panel (8'4" x 6'4" x 2"thick, 1000lbs).
