New Guy Question

Looking to dive into the world of stingrays. Buy the time i sell everything i want off ill have 2 cichla ranging from 15" to 17". They are a male/female combo but havent spawned. Do you think a you it would be a good idea to add a young ray to the mix?

Depends on the size tank, Im sure its pretty big if you have 15"+ pbass but still. Also I dont know if a stingray pup would be the best idea mabey a larger ray. Let some one chime in who has had exprince pbass though

Its a 6x2 and a larger ray will cost $$$$$$ if advalible

I agree. A larger ray would be a better bet in this combo, lest the cichla should mistake it for a tortilla with eyes!

Don't have a smaller tank to grow the ray put for about 2-3 months and then you can add it?

I do but dont want another tank running. Might have to sell everything. Time for a change
