I recently got pointed to this forum so I thought I would check it out and give it a try. I have kept tanks for years, from FW to reef tanks. I have several SW tanks still going that Ive had for 10 years or more. Ive kept several types of exotic fish and several native fish outside in ponds, as well as a snapping turtle years back.

As a big bass fisher man I really like the idea of natives, and would oneday love to have a small pond setup for a big bass, but thats years off.

I recently moved into an apt so i down sized, but I have a custom oceanic set up that holds ~30 gallons, real low slung tank, so alot of surface area. I plan to add another tank soon as a sump to allow for the top tank to be heavily stocked for a 30 gal. I am planning on a pair of orange spotted sunfish eventually, but for now I have some guppies and glass shrimp to cycle the tank.

Looking forward to getting involved in the community.
