Hello all, my name is John, I live in Kentucky. I've been keeping fish for several decades. I now have about 15 tanks. I keep 12 stocked with a variety of African cichlids and have a smaller number of angelfish and discus. I love breeding fish and raising or giving away the babies. I'm no aquatic photographer; for one thing, my equipment is obsolete and not really up to the task. I take pictures of my fish, but I do a lot better with family photos and journalistic assignments. I certainly can and do appreciate the fantastic work I've seen on this forum while lurking for several months. I'm pretty intimidated, really, but it's nice to be part of the group. Thanks for all the good work.

Welcome to APF, John. Please don't be intimidated - we all took terrible photos when we started. Indeed we still take terrible pictures quite often, but we pick out the better ones to post here
