Hello everyone!
So I've been reading a bunch of the different posts that are there and i must say I'm quite impressed about some of tank sizes you guys have. 230 gallon was the biggest i could get down my stairs lol.

So I have just joined the site and I would like to get some opinions on my plan for my monster tank.
So right now I have 2 ornates, 2 dalhousies and 2 ghost face knife fish in a 55 gallon, beefing them up to put in the tank with some Florida gars. Than later adding some stingrays and hopefully, hopefully putting in some panther crabs in, just to add something completely different but cool.

So any kinda input would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to see what is said.

Not to sure actually. Panther crabs get up too 3" in diameter so I figure as long as the are close to the same size or at least close enough so that the crabs don't get eaten it should be good. You would think. I haven't gotten them yet but I would definitely look into that

tbh not sure if polys are good tank mates with rays. particularly more aggressive polys like ornates. I wouldnt trust my rays with any invert, nore would i trust and ornate with my rays. atm my gar and rays are seperated but i do plan on adding my big female retic in with my gar when they get moved to a bigger tank.

atm 3 floridas, 1 longnose, and 1 Cuban. hopefully picking up 2 more longnose today.

Bichirs and rays can get along ok. But it does sometimes depend on the individual fish. Some people say ornates are aggressive but ive kept mine with many other polys and species for 2 years and only notice occasional nipping thats nothing to be worried about.
