I recently acquired a large piece of 1/2" plexiglass, 72"x30" ..so I figure it's a good place to start designing. A friend has an 8'x4' router table which I can use to cut doors in it.. I'll use the cutout parts for the doors.. Then using steel framing and plywood I can build the habitat.. I liked that simulated rock wall I saw in a recent thread, so I'm thinking about something detailed.. My plan is to have a 72"x48"x24" for two peach throat monitors.

you know i was thinking of getting into the whole lizard feild. I wanted to start with a amphibian tank with maybe some lizards in it, a half aquatic and half terestreal tank. I kinda whany to see how this turns out.

well if your asking what to do!? then i'd do a plywood but wouldnt seal it just connect them with nails it would be quite easy with the glass!

but great idea

ahh but see I'm not talking about a plain-jane habitat.. I want it to look like I stole the side of a cliff from some national park.. and then the lizards will look like gigantic monsters.. :D It's going to take a lot of work, and I'm sure it will be larger than the first dimensions I gave ..PTMs can get fairly large from what I've heard.. not too big, but big enough that I don't want them in a small area..
