just got a new afro haircut today. jk had to take some pics because my tank was pretty clean. heres my little champ 3-4 inches

the tank is nice and clean, and I prefer the bare bottom too, but even though substrate is messier, I found it easier to raise and grow afrowana by having it in with them,
even after feeding them 3-4 times a day, they would still constantly take mouthfuls of sand and eat whatever they could from it
he is looking good, so youre doing something right,good luck with him
