Hi all, after swinging by my LFS on the way home from work yesterday I noticed they had received some new peacocks and haps from Florida. Saw one that caught my eye as I had never seen one like it before so I got it even though nobody working new what it was. Just came in a bag labeled assorted haps. Can anyone ID this guy for me.

O.k after doing a little internet searching i think i got him figured out. Believe its a "eclectochromis lobochilus hertae" and if it is I'm pretty stoked. First one I've seen at any of my LFS. Couple more pics taken with my phone so they are the best I could do for the time being. He's setleing down and coloring up.will post a better pics later.

The lobochilus has a dark line that extends all the way down the fish side. I'm not sure what it is, I would keep looking.

Was a young Protomelas Ornatus but doesnt matter. Died of bloat this morning. Never ate and tried treating with general cure for a few days but it was a no go. On the hunt for another.

My bad !!! turns out it was a mylochromis lateristriga . Picked up another one about 3 to 4 weeks ago. here he is.
