new heater-very happy

I installed my 800 watt titanium heater yesterday in the sump to my 240. Within an hour the temperature rose from 78 degrees to 80. I decided to let my water change plumbing run all night as a test. Before this would have caused the temperature to drop by at least 6 degrees. In the morning, the temperature was still 80. I could not be happier!

What brand is the heater? Are you using a temperature controller as well?

800 watts for a 240? damn, that seems like alot. is the tank covered? and do u run a sump? is that covered?

Its a finnex with controller (not digital)
It is located in my sump
I got it from Aquatic Eco Systems
