I bought some African Cichlids from my LFS and I am unsure what they are. I know I have 2x Electric Yellows but the others are kind of a mystery to me. And yes I know I need to clean my glass...lol

Big blue one is a Blue Zebra, respectively the orange ones are Red Zebras.
And in the first pic, the blue one with the patterns (2nd fish down in the photo) is a Melanochromis johannii.

Lastly, in the first photo, the first fish at the top is some kind of Tropheops, possibly hybrid.

4th pic: Pseudotropheus Acei and Metriaclima estherae (Orange fish)
5th pic: left fish is a Metriaclima callainos. Right fish looks like a Pseudotropheus socolofi albino (Correct me if i'm wrong) Top mid is a Melachromis Johannii

Here we go, lets see how I do here...
Top to bottom - left to right
PIC 1- Female M. Greshakei, Johanni, ??? (bad angle), M. Estherae (red), Male M. Estherae (orange zebra),M. Estherae (red)
PIC 2- M. Estherae (red), , ??? (blocked), M. Callainos, 2 bad angles and ... we know what this is
PIC 3- ???, ???, ???,(f) greshakei, red zebra, johanni, red zebra, (I believe I see a pair of jewels in there too)
PIC 4-???, Red Zebra
PIC 5- Johanni, Callainos, Orange Zebra

Ok... little background please, where did they come from, and what are the general sizes. Hope I'm not hurting your feelings by saying what I'm about to say. These are all very common ACs, ones commonly bred for chain petstores such as petsmart, petco, and so on... The ones with (???) are hard to tell but they appear that they could possibly be hybrids. Smaller breeders keep a lot of similar species together and mixes to occur, and instead of losing money, they sell them anyways to unsuspecting small LFSs. I hope that I am wrong, and It may just be the flash and lighting throwing colors off a little.

.... And no hypeman, that is neither type of Acei, Ps. Acei (yellow tail, and Ngara) are both Black to Purple, to Blue, they have no browns or orange in them at all, even when they stress they go a baby blue to white color, and the Socolofi, has a more slender elongated body and is either powder blue or HYPER white

.... iamzrad, tropheops' have a sharply slanted snout, almost like a straight bee line from above the eye to mouth. I wish I had a pic to explain better

The Zebras are very diverse, there are the Reds, where both male and female are a dark orange, then theres actually another portion of lake malawi where the red males turn blue, some others are lighter orange and the males develop a white underbelly. Which is another reason I asked the size, because the one could be a "red" zebra male changing blue.

I really wish I could help more.... now.... CLEAN YOUR GLASS!!!!!!!, ...j/k...
