Hi I just registered and I use to have a fish tank as a child and im interested in getting back into it. I am trying to buy either a used 90 gallon or 180 gallon. Im wondering what freshwater fish I would be able to keep there entire life in that tank. I am interested in large fish or the largest I could get. Would peacock bass be a possibility?

Peacock bass would definatly be possible in a 180 or to grow out in the 90. I would first make a decision on which tanl you are getting as 90 and 180 is a huge difference in what you can stock and how many you can stock. Bigger is almost always better when it comes to tank size if you can afford the 180 and have the space and time for up keep I would definatly go 180. But either way you have so many options with either of those tanks you have to narrow it down to the type of fish you enjoy.

180gal, last thing you want to do is get a 90gal and then realize none the of the large fish you want will fit in it. Go with the 180gal you will have a lot of options for some decent sized large fish =)
