hiya everyone, guess it was about time I join this forum. frequent here a lot, for info, advice, etc. Figured eventually I have to join the forum, might as well be today. 
I grew up with salt and freshwater aquariums, mostly salt, for the majority of my youth. At one point we had 12 aquariums in our house, including a huge reef setup, as well as an indoor pond. only got into the hobby recently myself about 6 months ago. It all started with a small 30 gallon to spruce up my living room, now it has progressed to an 8.5 gallon fry tank, 30 gallon misc community, 35 gallon hospital/isolation, and a 170 gallon central american community biotope.
I hope to eventually venture to the salty side of the fence, but it seems a bit daunting. So for now I'm happy with my cichlids
