First off No I dont have a monster of a tank. Im here because I envy those of you who have the room for big tanks. Unfourtunatly where Im currently at I have very limited space and a 20g is all I could push. But one day I will have a tank 10x this size then hopefully I can contribute more to this board. But untill then If you have any planted tank questions feel free to ask. Ill help in any way I can.

For now this is a somewhat older pic of my tank. Ill try to get a updated one tonight if I can. The tank is a 20g AGA tank with 130w of PC lighting, pressurized Co2, eco complete substrate, xp3 canister filter...and I dose ferts daily.

Howdy,

Thanks for sharing. Since you already stated all of the above including pics in a previous thread, I will move this here to the photo lounge and let the discussion of your plant care happen in your old post.

WOW....Nice planted tank! Wish I could get my plants to look like that!!!

Jen ;)

BTW - WELCOME TO MFK!!!

Hey are you going to add a predator in that 20? I could see a small gudgeon (sp) in there enjoying the beautiful aquascape.

Thanks for the comments. Yea its alot of hardware for a small tank but I always do things to in excess of whats needed. Ive always over filtered and over stocked...might not be the norm to do but its always worked for me, plants and fish are all extremely healthy its like one big happy family.
Also with the inline reactor, surface skimmer and spraybar the output on the XP3 is actually just right i think. it by no means blows the fish or plants around even though it it rated at i think 350gph. all the equipment slows it down some.

And Marlboroman a predator seems cool but i dont think my school of rummynoses, pygmy cories, ottos or amano shrimp would appreciate it much lol. Someday though when i have more room. :)
