I'm in the NE of the UK.
I'm AMAZED by the incredible set up's some of you have!
I've a Leiarius that needs a tank larger or rather wider than most glass tanks (2ft). So I'm looking at what you people are doing and thinking why not?!! Leiarius, Oscars that sort of size. Maybe silver arowana at 3ft.
A nice south american pond, I was thinking. I've either a steel outbuilding or maybe the end of a garage that can be used. Neither are good for trops at the mo. Lack of insualtion and lack of a foundation in the outbuilding (steel shack) but hey, it's somewhere to start.
Probably no more than 30 ins depth and on the deck. Not sure about long and skinny or rectangular.
Loads to think about! Filtration for one thing...
Keep it up. Some of your tanks are the last resort for a lot of fish and for that reason I salute you!
Regards,
Soggy
