Hi all I'm new here, I have been keeping fish for around 8 years from discus to a full reef.

My aquarium is 6x3x2, I know I will have to upgrade eventually.

I have purchased a bd hybrid, but am concerned as it is hiding a lot only really coming out to eat small amounts, a worm or 2 per day. Have had him around 2 days.

Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 ph 6.8 temp 25.

Wc every 2 days 30%

Tank fully cycled has been for a long time.

He is housed with
5x clown loaches
10x rainbow fish
4x earth eaters
I'm wondering if the other fish are stressing hin out he is only around 7 inch or so.

All other fish being sold, am hoping to keep a pair of rays and possibly an arrow.

Any advice would be brilliant.

I know I know annoying noob questions... But we all have to start somewhere.

Many thanks
GG

Give it time with the lights off, it will be out soon enough

When Rays are small the urge to bury is strong....sometimes stronger than hunger.

30% Wrc every 2 days sounds excessive, I would have thought 30% per week was enough
Thanks ye maybe it just needs time

I will reduce wc as well, I'm used to doing large when I had discus

temp of 25 is also a bit low and will decrease appetite and make her more lethargic
Bump it up to 27/28 for now
