Hey everyone, how's it going? Looks like this site is pretty good. Anyways I have a breeding family of five purple Frontosa's[one male and four ladies]. I bought them like this which is pretty lucky as I've heard it takes two years to make a breeding family. The fact that they 're purple is even better! I know it's hard to come across purple one's.

So I'm just trying to get a general idea of how much babies sell for? The store that I got them from told me they sell babies for thirty dollars and they would give me half. Is this a fair deal? I've heard from a couple people that I could get one hundred dollars as it is really hard to get purple Frontosa's.

I'm not trying to be greedy; I just want a fair deal. I paid a good penny for the breeding family and it would be nice if I could get some of my dollars back. Actually if things go well these fish should pay themselves off as they live between 20-25yrs. So if their is someone out there who could give me some advice that would be greatly appreciated....Thanx...:headbang2

Welcome. Down here in Pa, I can get a 1.5-2" for $11. I have seen them sell for about $10 an inch.
