Hi, I am obviously new here, not to fish keeping, but to the forum. I have been keeping fish since 2002, I kept them successfully *meaning knowing what to do and how to properly keep them* in early 2003. I have learned a LOT. I used to keep only goldfish, had them breed a few times, but I have decided to go tropical. I have a 60gal with 2 of my remaining goldfish, a couple gouramis, some platies, a rubber lipped pleco, a couple mollies, and 2 iridescent sharks *Learned to research before buying with those 2* :(
I have a 5 gal with my betta, and a 30 gal with 4 polypterus, 2 senegals, one Albino, and one Ornate. They are only between 3'' and 4'' right now, I am growing them out, and then putting them in the 60gal. I have to find a home for the goldfish, the sharks when they get bigger, and the rest will go to the 30gal. In a perfect world, I would get a 75gal or bigger for my polypterus, but I live in a mobile home/trailer, whichever you know it as, and I don't know if my floors would hold something that BIG. I'm nervous with my 60gal the way it is...which is why my home in now insured for 2x the amount its worth LOL

So thats my fish stuff. I also have a beautiful lil boy, he will be 2 in July, and he LOVES the fish! He gets to be a big brother this September, I get to find out if its a boy/girl on May 7th!!!! :) *not that you all care, but I am really excited!!!* My boyfriend is currently wqorking at a wholesale fish supplier to smaller stores in MN, and so I get all my fishies for super cheap!! I got my Ornate for only $10, which is cheap considering I have seen them twice, one for $40, and the other for $80. :)

But yeah, I am happy to be on here, and sorry to ramble on so much. Just gives everyone an idea of what I am lol

Congrats on the soon to be addition. Welcome, you can always brace the floor from under the trailer to support whatever tank you want to get.
