G'day, i would just like to introduce myself. My name is Nick and i live in Brisbane, Australia.
I dont really keep any "monster" fish appart from some frontosa. I mainly keep Lake Tanganyikan cichlids but i also have a few peppermint catfish.
I pretty much joined the site to learn about constructing large tanks like most of the peolpe on here keep.

Cheers
Nick

Hiya, welcome to MFK!
We are getting quite a few Australian members now.

:welcome:
You'll learn more than just tank construction if you hang around :grinyes:

Welcome to MFK !!! I know you will enjoy it here, I can't wait to see what types of tanks you will have!! Don't forget to keep posting and send pics!

thank you all for the warm welcome! At the moment I am planning a large plywood tank to go in my shed. The DIY section of the forum has been great so far and I have gained some important information.

Again, thanks for the welcome and eventually I hope to contribute something valuable to this forum.

Nick

Aussie land is a little restricting on the fish you can keep/import eh? I knew some peeps over there that had some Crenicichla, TSN and RTC's though, so it can be done! Welcome!

And you have great natives that you just can't get in the USA, things like Lorentzi archers, nursery fish, spangled perch, eeltail cats, and five bar flagtails.
