Hi everyone I am brand new to the forum although I have visited this site several times before back when I was searching for more information on building a moster fish tank... It has always been a dream of mine to have my own indoor aquarium/pond... I am talking 1,000 to 2,000 gallons. My question is how much can I expect to spend on maintaining such an aquarium... What all is required to run such an aquarium... How much power? Filters? Anything that would help me get started on the planning of my project would be very much appreciated... Thanks

I think your best bet is to go DIY filtration. As far how much it will cost to run really depends on your local cost of water, electricity, and every thing.
