Hi everyone!

Just a quick introduction, my name is Mark Chen and I am the owner and operator of Discus Origins and have been a sponsor at SimplyDiscus as a supplier of quality wild discus/angelfish. Been a hobbyist for over 30 years, bred a variety of fish including discus (domestic and wild), various plecos including L46, and multiple other species from betta all the way to african cichlids. Importing from Brazil, Colombia, Peru has allowed me to bringing some rare and unique species of fish.

Currently I am importing a good variety of rare plecos, cories, and geophagus. I also will be bringing in select number of hard to find monster fish such as peacock bass, pike cichlids and rays.

I am very new here but hoping to get to know many members and learn about monster fish :)

welcome to mfk Mark.. nice to meet you !!

Hello.
So I finally decided to join this group after I got my 230 gallon tank for fathers day.
I'm planning on making it a predator tank. I have 2 ornate bichirs and 2 dalhousie bichirs that I'm growing in my 55 gallon. And I plan on getting either 3 spotted gars or alligator gars. Haven't quite decided yet. And than 1 or 2 freshwater stingrays.
So I'm open to any info on whether or not this sounds like a good idea. I look forward to talking to all of you and seeing what kind of set ups you all have.
Thanks
