hey just got into this, been around fish my whole llfe, work in a fishing store, family has had tanks. just switched from a 10gal to a 30gal, have 2 EBJD 3 clown loaches and 3 zebra daniels. they are all very small. as of now my one ebjd had visible ick so i am dealing with that. but im happy to be here

Heyo welcome to the fam, I too am also a new member... with actually the same type of fish. Unfortunately my EBJD ate my 3 shrimp (I guess they were hungry?). Like mother like fishies. Anyway... I hope you have a good experience! I am an experienced marine biologist and have been around the block... or should I say— around the waters. Let me know if you need any help with the maintenance of your tank.

Welcome welcome! Look forward to seeing your future updates of the crew and your new tanks and additions!

Welcome to the forum! To both you and to L lfischer1227 . It's always nice to see new MFKers!

How are you approaching the issue of the ich? I'd offer advice if it's desired, but I won't patronize you by offering it before it's asked.

I have heard a million different thjngs. But im slowly increasing temp to 86ish. While soing 50% water change every other day. And using acculate, i think its called. I didnt wanna use salt due to clown loaches kinda nervous

Would reduce ur temps if dosing meds. The life cycle will increase and ur fish may struggle until the meds really start to work. Fish will tolerate a lot more if it happens slower.
