Well i adopted a pacu that was being beaten up by a midas at a LFS. I only have a 90 gallon tank which means ASAP i need a bigger home for this guy. To get some ideas I wanted to post this thread and start brainstorming on a bigger home for this guy, i was thinking about in the 400 gallon range. I really really like this little guy and i dont want to have to rehome em. It doesnt have to be pretty. I was thinking of 2 by 4's n plywood. Simple cost affective ways for everything. Maybe like a 2x4 frame. Lay the inside with plywook and then some kind of liner, instead of epoxy. but id really like some kind of veiwing window.

any suggestions will help, this guys like a dog to me, pahn ki ki is his name

well i would go with ply wood like you said but its very hard to use pond liner and have a veiwing wiedow.... :(. you will probly have too do expoxy or somthing like that. good luck with him/her :)

here at home depot like 1-5$ for a 15x1 pecie of pond liner very cheap.... :) you could always go scubb diving in the pond if you want a good view of your fish... :)

Im thinking about making a box/rectangular structure. 6'Lx4'Wx3'H n e body have a idea on how many gallons of water that is? rufly?
