Bought this guy when he was only 5 inches and was told he could easily be kept in my 90 gallon aquarium by the store. Well like im sure you all know, these cats grow big fast which led me to be very upset with my LFS. He out grew his 90 gallon home in 6 months and is currently roughly 22 inches after only 11 months. I recently set up a 220 gallon tank to replace my 90 gallon for all my fish. I currently have a 15 inch peacock, 18 inch gar, and 8 inch small mouth bass. My big question is what do I do with my catfish. I called my local Cabelas retail store (hunting/fishing) and the aquarium manager said he would love to have him in their 5,000 gallon aquarium. I am asking you veterans in this hobby because you guys will know what is best for my fish. Should I put him in my 220 gallon for maybe 6 more months to a year or just let him go into the giant aquarium. He is a beautiful and very active fish and dont know what I should do. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!:)

Just let him go to the giant aquarium. I couldnt imagine keeping one in a 220 for long. mine is growing so quick im going to have to upgrade the 1500. Do the right thing and send him to a new big home

That is what I am leaning towards. I just do not want to let him go. Will be cool watching him grow to his full potential for years to come though!
