Male Honduran Red Point?

I just picked this fish up about 2 weeks ago and introduced it to my 55 gal community. So far so food. Not even eating guppy fry

But yah, as cavamart said, looks like he may have some Black Convict in him.

Unfortunately there are some sellers in the hobby claim that HRPs are like most other Centrals and color up with age.
Real ones are blue from the start. These juvies are under .75". Bad picture, but the colors come through for reference.

So are we are thinking male.

Is there anybody who feels confident/comfortable giving a definite species ID? So far i think the choices are HRP, convict, or a hybrid of the two?

it does have some red in its tail and anal fin, I think its new and it needs some food and time to settle down before it shows colours.
it most likely is a hybrid of the two but you may be suprised to see it colour up identical to the other pictures.
I´ve seen some amazing before and after pics on here and sometimes a new fish looks like something completely different.
