New Hybrid

Hystrix female had some really cool pups last week. Believed to be Hystrix/P14/???. Tiny.

Well- kind of a sad story. She actually had 9 pups. 7 Hystrix and 2 hybrids. The Hystrix were all still born and huge. She had all seven one evening and the two hybrids later on in the night. I guess that proves there can be two different fathers and get knocked up at different times. Think all the Hystrix were carried way too long due to the two hybrids she was carrying at the same time. Really have to watch putting a pregnant female in with a bunch of horny males. (Didn't really know she was already pregnant at the time).

Very cool hybrids that will be very interesting to see grow up. Very sad about all the hystrix pups. But it sounds like a huge learning experience that can benefit all. Cant wait to see the next update on these hybrids.
