Havent posted in forever but now i get a chance to i have 2 new hystrix stingrays coming Tuesday, bought a male and female on aquascapeonline.com for 150$ for both i have a 150 gallon tank with 2 fx5s the only fish i have are 2 oscars and 2 sevrums and ofcourse a pleco.The stingrays that are coming are 3-4 inches long each i cant wait to get them. There my first set of rays:D:grinno::D any help on them would be nice. Also wondering how long do you guys think they could stay in this tank i am definaltey upgrading with in a year. and are they any DIY food recipes for them because around me where i live i cant get black worms.
 
Black worms can be shipped. You can also have red wrigglers shipped, most likely the rays will also accept those although you may need to chop them at first.

Your tankmates are not the best and rays are illegal in your state if Georgia means the state North of Florida.
 
I contacted Fish and Gameand informed that only rays of "Dasytidae" areprohibited. and they stated that any ray not of that family is legal for keeping as a ornamental fish as they called it. When it states All species many people get confused is what they told me. They are thinking all species of stingray and not all species of the Dasyatidae family. They also told me some saltwater stingrays are prohibited. didnt go into asking which ones.
 
They called me last night told me my order was complete and that they could not ship mine to me last night which sucked but they asked if i would like saturday or tuesday delivery and i just told them tuesday.
