No matter how much you think it is going to eat and how large of a bio-load you are expecting it will be more than that

Check your water often in the first few months of ownership

and most importantly they are awesome

thanks, im slightly obsessive about water quality. i check twice a week. ray is coming home tomorrow. outside of starting with something easier i think i got it. any tips on food they cant resist during first days

Black worms or ghost shrimp should get the ray going.
