Dad left me behind, so a project I've been thinking of doing for a few months sprung into action.
I'm currently housing my Alligator lizard in an oddly shaped, free 30 gallon. I decided to do a little upgrade, so I had room under my desk to build a bigger enclosure. So off to The Home Depot to pick up the supplies and 1/2 an hour later, the cutting begins.
The entire thing is about 50" long, but split into two sections with a narrow passage between them. So each section is about 16"x20"x27.5" (LxWxH).
I'm still playing with ideas, and currently thinking I'm going to fiberglass the inside and decorate with whatever later. The fiberglass once finished will be more visually appealing and will prevent escape (hopefully) as the old circular saw definitely has a bent blade and there doesn't seem to be a straight edge from any of the cuts. After some sanding I hope to fix this though.
More updates once I'm off work and get some progress on this bad boy tomorrow
Some teaser pics for the space I'm using:
