new ideas wanted for fish room

i have this idea of a mini fish room sorta. i have an area in my garage that i would like to use as my fish area. ive been thinking of houseing some of my fish in the garage i thought i had it made seeing all the inexpensive tanks on craigslist, but now that everything is going up price wise due to popularity(i guess). i sorta changed my mind.....now i want to use plastic toes with wooden support frames with mods for in and outlets. i plan on building a 8'x8'x4' aboveground pond to house out side during the summer months.

any opinion or ideas?

well if its int he garage i assume its not heated... and to heat a lot of tanks is sometimes not in peoples budget... so i would say get a really good space heater for the room!... line the tanks so it gives u the most accessibility, and get a buncha shop lights
