Hi Everyone! I just wanted to stop by and say Hello, since I am new at the forum. I've actually read a lot of the threads the past month or so, but finally signed up to participate.
I currently have two tanks up and running, a 50 gallon hex/corner with a 8" wolf fish, and the other tank is a 30gal breeder, that I was using to QT feeders, but has been empty now for some time, waiting for a new inhabitant! I also have a 200gal that I haven't put up since moving, and its not like I have anything to put in it yet! I did have a 12" Florida Gar in it, along with the wolf fish (before moving) and the gar must have swam into the glass of the tank while I was sleeping and broke its back and passed in the night. I was devastated, but think its about time to get something else!
I would really love to have a Florida Largemouth Bass, but looks like my only option would be to catch one myself! I've contacted a few fisheries in neighboring states, but they only sell to stock in the spring...
I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any about a really fun aggressive fish to have.... I like some of the larger piranhas, that can't even cohabitate with their own species, but don't know which breed is the best.
I look forward to reading more posts and being active in the Monster Fish Keeping Community!
Thanks!
