New iPhone info....

I've been wanting to get an iPhone, but the older models didn't allow you to "piggyback" your computer's internet on the phone. I live in the hills - no cable or DSL - so I want to dump my dial-up and connect my iMac via the phone.
Does anyone know if the new model would let me do this?

Dan, You might have problems with cell service and speed living in the country and trying to get cell service. Now if you get great service then it should be fine.
