Back in action!
Picked up two 3 " Indo Tigers today. I just fed the tank and they both ate pieces of market shrimp! :headbang2The lfs said they would probably only eat minnows or guppies, but I guess not! :naughty:

At what point will they be too big for a 15" RTG to eat?

I got them to eventually add to my RTG tank where I also have a 10" NTT, a 10" ornate bichir and a 14" endli bichir.

tough question how is your rtg's temporment 5" would be my guess

When I first got him and had him in the 6 foot alone, he was rather timid and a bit finicky at meal time.

I then added the ornate and he became a better eater. He went at the ornate and actually had gone as far as to put his mouth around the ornate's mid section but never actually bit him. I saw this a couple of times.

I then added the endli and the RTG didn't bug him at all and became a little more aggro at feeding time.

I then added the NTT and the RTG isn't aggressive towards anyone but is now a total maniac at meal times, lol.

The lfs owner told me the IT's will hide in the plants and the RTG won't care about them. Somehow, it seems to me that the RTG might not care, but the endli might.....

With power feeding and alot of water changes, at the soonest it wont be for another 6 months but you also gotta figure how much your RTG will grow during that time too!

I personally wouldnt risk it, dats are spiny little buggers and Id hate something to happen to your RTG if he tried to eat it. In not the biggest Asian Aro fan but as a background I have your aro and NTT. Such a beauty man!

ive had big endlicheri with small dats with no problem....

Thanks, JD7.62 and Nic! I appreciate the feedback!

Considering they're in a 80 gallon with two 5" ornates and a 6" tegeulsi, maybe I'll grow them all out together for a few months and add them to the 8 footer I'm building in the fall for the RTG.

I'm also plannng to plant the tank they're in, so it could potentially be a mini-monster set up! :naughty:

PS~JD7.62, I'm glad you liked that photo enough to use it as a background!
