Well I saw this for sale privately and treated myself to the new year-don’t see many tiger fish for sale at all in this area especially IT and the price I thought was reasonable. Measures close to 11 inches. Makes my other AT and NTT look very small but so far everything seems to be good. Asymmetrical patterns but that’s never really bothered me if I’m honest
Had a bad time with the tank in that I lost the NGT less than a week from purchasing it from the store. The bastards ( sorry about my language but I’m still really mad about it and think I always will be) refused to give credit also which really angered me. This was despite the fact the tank being up and running for months and the other two tigers were thriving and doing well. I just think it was a really bad quality fish which hadn’t been quarantined and I’ve since found out that they don’t quarantine any of their fish . And I also have been told that they never give store credit-unbelievable but with such few stores in the area I guess they can do as they choose.When I contacted them they simply asked what the pH of the tank was and this was despite the fact I live 40 minutes away from the store. Still being new to the area you live and learn. I wouldn’t pee on the store if it was burning
So this new one has softened the blow a bit and I’m really happy with it. The fact that it came from a private sale made me happy as all his fish looked good. Still on the lookout for an NGT and think I may have to order online from the States and collect it from just inside the border from a shipping depot. Nobody around here seems to get them and if they do they charge stupidly high prices
