I was at my LFS buying some feeders when my eye caught this guy in one of the bottom tanks. It was a beautiful (male I think) Jack Dempsey, about 4 or 5 inches long with beautiful colors. I knew I had to have him once I saw him and they let him go for just $5!! He is in a 200 gallon tank with other cichlids, an arowana, and a stingray.
He was pretty mean when he was in the tank at the store but when I put him in my tank, he became very placid and shy. Most likely due to new surroundings but either way he looks to be doing well. What do you guys think?
