Hi all, this is my first post, I finally have a monster fish! lol I have a planted Apistogramma tank and a Tanganyika community but have always wanted a big mean fish. I finally got my Jack today and im loving him so far. His only tank mate is a Jewel and they seem to be getting along well for now, jewel can always be re-homed if they don't get along this tank is all for him. 
Well I say him, I did my best picking out a male based on everything I read but maybe you guys can verify that he is indeed a male? He's still settling in and not showing his full color yet but he's still gorgeous, if I had to guess id say he's about 5-6". Just wanted to show him off and make sure he's a him! Thanks!
